More Regional Clothing

  • I think it would be great to have more cultural clothing for sea of thieves.

Personally I think the fact that Rare is a Scottish company and it is missing Kilts, unless you wear dresses / skirts to sort of try to pull it off is a bit of a let down.

I also think it would be cool to see more clothing from around the world prop up instead of the typical European clothing or occasionally the odd island outfit.

Given that some of the ships loadouts look like they draw inspiration from other cultures other than the basic europe look that the clothing tends to be it would be fun to have clothes that match them

  • Rare is english, not scotish, just a small correction! And even though a pirate in a kilt would seem odd to me, options are nice.

I would love a lot more eastern asian style cosmetics however since china and singapore had some of the most successful pirates in history, and when i say that, i dont mean another recolor of the eastern winds set. 30 colors of the exact same items gets really tiring and doesnt add much more diversity, especially since i have hardly seen any of the recolors used other than the week after a drop.

  • I suspect they will try to steer clear of specific items after the manchu beard debaucle

  • The whole Manchu beard ticks me off. No one (as far as I know) was offended by the Manchu style beard worn by Asian star Chow Yun-Fat in Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End.
    But.....
Since Rare has gone so far off the deep end with all the non-traditional pirate outfits, I'd say go all-in and bring on more variety. I think there is a ton of opportunity for regional pirate adornments if they strove to model after authentic(ish) pirate outfits.
