Golden Bird

  • I don't know much about the pets, and really don't use them, but I bought one of the golden birds with actual real money I had to bring in through PayPal to Steam, then through Steam to the game (to purchase "Ancient Coins"). So I bought this golden bird because it reminded me of the robot owl from the 1981 movie "Clash of the Titans."

    Then about 2 weeks to a month ago, I bought one of the skeleton dogs, because I thought it looked cool, and the skeleton Monkey, because it reminded me of
    the one from the Pirates of the Caribbean movie.

    I never equipped any of them though, until a few days ago, when I finally had time to play with my 3 sons.

    However, when I went to the pet chest, it only had my 2 normal looking Parrots. The ones I spent money on are gone. On top of that, I can't find them in the Pirate Emporium any more.

    I'm already mad that it took me 2 years to earn 8 million and buy these sails to have an advantage, but a few months after I do, they change them to be shaped like regular sails. And they never reimbursed the 8 million.

    But in this case I spent actual real-world money, and the items I bought have been removed from my inventory. I don't think this is right.

    DA sails were nerfed about a month ago and no refund will be issued.

    With the birds, you may have to submit a support ticket.

  • @wonderwaffle559 Yeah, no kidding, in my other post they replied that the appeal of the sails were their status, not the cut, and to work with my crew. First of all, I almost always solo sloop unless I am playing with my sons, second of all, how do you know why I bought them? are you a mind reader? I bought them because of the cut, not because of the status. But they said that and then locked my post. I guess their mind is made up and they don't want anyone who disagrees with them even posting and making them look wrong.
