So today in sea of thieves we have 5 different world events in rotation. 3 land based events and 2 fleet events. By combining the Ashen Winds and skull fort events we got the fort of fortune, which was a regular skull with longer waves, with the added Ashen lord at the end with athena loot. Of the basis, we could combine the Ghost fleet and skeleton fleet and include athena loot. This would be the fleet of fortune. It would include say, 5 waves. Wave 1 and wave 3 would have 2 skeleton galleons, wave 2 and wave 4 would have 2 ghost minibosses and 8 regular ghost ships. The final wave would include a half ghostly skeleton ship; The Silver Blade. It would be occampanied by 2 skelly galleons and 2 ghost minibosses. The ships in the first 4 waves would drop regular loot, but the final would drop athena loot. The event cloud would just be a skeleton fleet cloud with say red sails. Thr event would also be as rare as the fort of fortune in the event rotation. Adding this event would balance out the on land and at sea events giving the world event rotation a breath of new life.
Fleet of Fortune World Event Concept
The fleet of fortune is coming in season 11! We do not know the details or how close it is to my idea, or even if that's how they saw it. After writing my concept I also found a similar concept by someone else but less detailed. So I think many others have had the same idea. I guess great minds think alike.
@expertflyer3095 not your idea, just the chest of fortune moving to the fleet with a different coloured ship cloud to indicate it. That’s what Mike Chapman’s confirmed on Twitter :)
