Are you able to buy ashen key voyages anymore?

    I just started getting into the game like 2 weeks ago after not playing for months and the wiki.gg is giving me straight up conflicting information.

    Wiki.gg tells me I can buy them from larinna outside any outpost tavern, when I go look at her shop she doesn't even have the option to buy any voyage, let alone an ashen key one. Am I going crazy?

    @damien15792658 You used to be able to buy them, but since this season (the whole voyage and quest system has been redone) not anymore. The wiki is just not updated yet i believe.

    Ashen Guardians drop a key and a map to an Ashen Chest now. If you get one from a Skelly ship, tough luck there's no keys that aren't already giving you another chest. Unless you steal one from somebody lol

    Thank you for your replies! I thought I was going insane, sucks the wiki isn't very reliable at the moment.

    I'm glad I got the Ashen Dragon set before they changed this, opening those chests now must be such a pain.

    The Larinna option was a godsend. Just head up to Galleon's Grave, purchase the map and dig up the key two steps away from where you stand. Not the most immersive thing, though. If it were up to me, skeleton ships should drop both the chest and the key, or at the very least include an Ashen Guardian you must kill before sinking them if you do want the key.

    I just went for a quick sail and while doing the Fleet of Fortune the last galleon dropped two Ashen Chests with two keys. I don't remember if this is the usual because since I got the full tome set I stopped paying attention to this stuff, but yeah, it looks like they do drop it.

    Maybe in the fleet. The ones that spawn on you do drop a chest but no key.

    Pre-S11 they (the spawns) would usually drop one but not both. Soloing fleets was a gimmick flex and I didn't do it much because of the effort lol. I don't remember pre S11 dropping both. Nice that the fleet at least is doing it lol. Fix the spawning ones?

    Ahoy!

    Not sure if anyone has said this or not yet (I was a bit lazy reading other replies lol), but I believe the Ashen Key Master's still drop them. You find these skeleys trapped on smaller islands as you sail around the Sea Of Thieves. Doing Skeleton Forts can also yield these keys as well as sinking the Skeleton Captain Ship during a regular fleet world event. Hope this helps brother man!
