@TheGrimPreacher Not saying they owe it, as I'd just be happy to be able to log into the game, but you are completely right it happens in all live service games, just about every live service game gives some sort of compensation for unexpected downtime though, especially if others were able to play and progress while we sit stagnant. Remember they have monthly ledgers and time sensitive events in this game. Especially for monthly ledgers the 8 hours I can't play is a huge difference maker when it comes to getting top 25% rewards!
Kiwibeard error Ps5
@MadeBread639597 im not... a friend talked with support worked for her, and worked for me soo... try bro u will thank me
Players have reported that if you go in to your PS5 settings>go to Storage>go to Saved Data>PS5>SoT>delete, it should work after closing out the game and waiting a few minutes and then relinking your MS account.
Players have reported a temporary workaround for Kiwibeard.
PS5 setting - Storage - Saved Data -PS5 - SoT - Delete
This should work after closing out the game and waiting a few minutes and then relinking your MS account.
Please be aware that the team are still investigating this issue but this workaround should get you all back on the seas.

@thx-weazer I FIGURED THE PROBLEM OUT FOR PS5. YOU HAVE TO GO TO PSN SETTINGS GO TO STORAGE THEN SAVED DATA THEN DELETE UR SAVED DATA FOR SEA OF THIEVES. THEN OPEN APP UP AGAIN AND RE LINK UR MICROSOFT ACCOUNT. ITS FIXED!!
To solve the problem. You have to delete the game's save manually and then restart the game
They ask you to link your Microsoft account then an error appears and you have to start again in 2 minutes.
You restart the game and link the account again
Any function and you don't lose any progress because it's linking to the Microsoft account (you just have to put the same one back)
