This should work after closing out the game and waiting a few minutes and then relinking your MS account.
Please be aware that the team are still investigating this issue but this workaround should get you all back on the seas.

@look-behind-you seems to be something that happens when a ps5 player closes the game without using the in-game logoff feature.
@jimmyneutron413 It didn’t work for me. Game said I had a previous session and that I had to relink and keep relinking time after time.

Do not delete your save data like the posted suggestion says. I deleted mine and then opened the app again after closing it prior to deleting, and now it is saying my account is signed in on another device and I cannot play. I think the pinned suggestion to delete save data is a troll. Don’t do it.

@look-behind-you bro, are you just going to keep re using the update from almost a day ago now? Embarrassing. I bought this game 3 days ago and only been able to play once . For two work nights now it's been down. Yesterday and today. If I can't play for another day I'm genuinely going to contact PlayStation for a refund. I could be playing a working game with the over $40 I spent. This is ridiculous to release a game that's been working more or less fine for 6 years, and here PlayStation is waiting for 2 days for maintenance and getting one updated response every 24hrs or so
@snoh-v1 I will share the most recent update as many times as needed. Some people don't seem to have read it or may have skipped over it.
The team is working on it and further updates will be available when they are available.
If people keep asking the same question when no new information is available(whether through not reading or skipping answers provided), then inevitably, the same answer will be provided.

@look-behind-you so I did this last night got back into game and now today it's done it again went through did the delete method logged back in to be told the server is down and now strawberrybeard is coming up what the actual duck is going on with this game?
