when the cursed ferryman set got Introduced many players including myself were disappointed about the figureheads design, it looks more like two fingers acting like a 2d mouth rather then a gaping mouth, I think this figurehead and the collector's figurehead need a little design change update to make it more like a gaping mouth then a pair of fingers acting as a mouth
I think it needs to be redesigned to look more like a gaping mouth wrapped around the bow of the ship like the bone crusher figurehead looks rather then a finger and thumb posing as a mouth
New cursed ferryman figurehead design request
I feel the exact same way about this topic and I hope Rare adheres to this suggestion. I equivocally feel that the Cursed Ferryman Figurehead should be much larger and should appear much more like a, “gaping mouth”, covering a bigger portion of the bowsprit instead of the space it currently takes up. It would also look a lot better if the Figurehead had more wood portions portrayed similarly to the Figurehead of the Wailing Barnacle with headrails added similarly to the look of the Eternal Freedom Figurehead. The opinion that I differ on as opposed to XenomorphBen570’s is that I think Rare should keep the regular Figurehead the same in the Pirate Emporium, but should make the altercations to the Collector’s Figurehead so that those who may’ve liked the original design can still have it in the game. And one last thing; Rare, I hope you take this into consideration and make this a reality since your team already did such a great job on the Figureheads for the Queen Anne’s Revenge & Black Pearl as well as the design of the figurehead on the Dutchman in the Pirate’s Life Tall Tales.
