Toggle Sprint needs to go

I never understand what this does to players. From all the games we play, toggling sprint is like second nature.

Most games have the options “toggle” and “hold” as the selection for sprint, crouch, run, swim, etc…

I prefer toggle for sprint, so the default here is all I’d use, but I still think the option should be there for people who prefer hold.

I dont really see the problem in hg im sprinting from cannons to buckets or vise versa and in open world well we have a autowalk button just sprint auto walk and boom you dont even need to touch your controller

I'm just going to say this, instead of saying you don't see the issue or understand it, just don't, and accept that despite you not understanding it, some of us do have a issue with it. It's fine if you don't understand but for some of us it is something that does effect how we play.

This is simply a simple change that should have happened years ago that now adays is a basic setting in most games. Even if you find it fine, it should still be an OPTION for those of us who don't.

Regardless of whether you were holding sprint or not, the game will remove your sprint if you turn too quickly, bump into something etc. Based off of how you worded your OP, it seems like that's the real issue "I am so tired of the game stopping me from sprinting for seemingly no reason."

Yeah unable to toggle sprint would be a weird thing to do. I rather pick when I wanna run

@rare-jumbie The issue is that I am not going too fast 90% of the time. I am literally running down a flat beach, dock, even length of the brig. This could still be easily fixed by just letting me hold the sprint key to reactivate sprint automatically when the game allows it.

At the end of the day it just needs to be an option. Nobody is forced to use it but those who want to can, it's that simple.
