There should be a boat like the burning blade, a pirate lord's boat that would be the same but with differences like several ghosts on the ship, haunted bullets and a ghost summoner. I don't know if it would work, but it would make a little sense, since one would attack the other and to accumulate wisdom for the ship, it would be by making a large ghost fort. I think it's a good idea:)

Can't be just a reskin of a BB else it would be boring.
Repurpose ancient fight part of the atheans viel voyage. Viel stones recharge the phantoms on the ship.
Instead of a flamthrower, chase cannons fire a chain shot barrage and the front of the ship is immune to ram damage. So you take out the masts with a successful hit and run them over. Ram strat best strat.
Ship and Phantoms are not emmue to fire damage but when phantoms get hit by it they teleport back with water and put out the fire.
A blige pump is on the ship, one phantom my man this providing there are no holes or enemy crew on the ship.
Instead of firing the occasional bone caller the phantoms will fire chain.
Four instread of five cannon on each side. Three cannon on the main deack, swivels cannon for helm. BUT, include a gappling cannon. When it makes a hit, the ships are pulled together and 5 phantoms appear on the boarded ship until the link is broken.
Make the phantoms the ones from athenas tavern.
From Lore's perspective, the pirate lord is against larger and more powerful ships, he is the one who limits the amount of cannons we can have in SOT
For the gameplay, honestly, we should forget about BB, it wasn't the expected success, it's a boring event and in my opinion they should reuse the ship in some tall tale or future event.

Some of the best fights I have had have been on or against the BB. The only thing I would change is the anbility to do voyages.@miserenz The pvp is cool, but the event is undeniably a failure for something that was constantly requested (a bigger ship), in a week I saw everyone stop doing it.
