Separate Queue from Menu for Hourglass

  • Imagine a button that sends you into a queue in duo / trio / squad, loads up players, then sends them into the desired faction of hourglass queue instead of having to do it all manually inside the game. That would have players hooked the entire time, also would save time as well as promoting pvp learning in a safe environment.

    Example:

From main menu / Click on Hourglass Button / Click on Desired Faction / Click on Sloop, Brig or Galleon / Wait for players to load up into the ship / Start game diving under the sea as we normally do for Hourglass queues / Start battle / When battle ends they are ported into a random server as we usually do when popping out of HG / If a player leaves they have a 2min penalty timer to queue again after several quits.

Easy competitive, safe, enivronment for players that need to grind hourglass or find it fun without taking the sea of thieves worlds any players from their servers.

  • So with this. You skip gathering resources, choosing the emissary flag you wanna carry and if you want to defend or not.
Along with any other preparation you wanna do
    Just click and go.

Seems fine until people will want to buy supplies and that not working as it should. :p

  • You are absolutely right, maybe in this queue you can raise only reapers / athena flag? and purchase boxes as you normally would on any outpost?

  • @burnbacon might work better, less opportunity for exploit buying from menu

  • at least it would make some progress towards a change in hourglass. It’s quickly becoming mundane

  • specialy for regions like mine (south america) where if u play hourglass before 11am theres only one or two guys that are lvl 1600 on each faction playing (not joking, i really know them and we share a discord)

so at least for me i have to get a friend from another server to invite me and duo sloop hg to get better chances of winning but at 200ping lol
