keep seasons for cosmetics but keep the actual large content until its finished and ready to release, so every 3 months have a season but every 5-6 have a large content update similar to 2018-2020
also increased fov would be nice ngl
keep seasons for cosmetics
They pretty much are.
keep the actual large content until its finished and ready to release
Example?
so every 3 months have a season but every 5-6 have a large content update
So there be A LOT of down time once people finish the 1 content released, almost best not to play until the end when everything is released.
First of all, FOV has already been stated in multiple posts that is not going to get changed. The use of external software to raise it up is also banneable.
Second. Releasing a huge update with tons of new content every 5 months won't fix anything. Veterans will wait unil it's done while casual/new players play the game. Once the content is released, veterans will come back, grind it and leave if is no more fun for them.
I think that the release of new content should be more frequent than a huge pile every 5 months. Also, I think that gameplay is incentivated by giving players interaction with others. With that being said Rare should really create some type of event every month to promote player interactions. With Gold And Glory they increase Hourglass. Guilded Quests bring players together in Shores of Plenty. There needs to be another thing (Fort Nights, Allegiance Weekends, or a new Event) so players can use the new mechanics in each Season.
@capt-pilotes
Eh I see a lot of people using Software to increase FoV to 105-110-120 and not get banned.
I don't think anyone cares at this point.
Playing every other game to then jumping on SoT 90 (Which isn't even true 90 FoV Mind you) is just a complete eye sore.
Games almost 8 years old and a primitive 60-90 FoV Slider like it was a game from the early 2000's is laughable.
