So, out of all the Tall Tales that are currently available, I mostly enjoyed The Pirates Life and Monkey Island. Why aren't there more Tall Tales like these? The Shores of Gold is okay but the having to repeat them over and over for completion can get rather boring. I had stopped playing shortly after The Pirates Life launched and only just got back on recently to find only one new Tall Tale, Monkey Island. Even though it was short by comparison, I loved being able to play The Secret of Monkey Island in such a way. Meeting the characters face to face, experiencing Insult Sword Fighting, and dealing directly with the tree trials was not only nostalgic but gave a new perspective towards the original game. Why not add more Tall Tales like this? Guybrush and Jack Sparrow are always getting into trouble so those can be used again considering there are plenty of games and movies to work off of. Some other ideas are Peter Pan, The Princess Bride, or maybe Goonies. I hope to see what comes out.

They take a lot of time to produce and nothing you just put together just like that. The reason Pirates Life & Monkey Island are just better Tall Tales is because they use characters people are used to and they came out YEARS after the original 9.
My guess is that we get a new one in 2025. We have to wait and see
try legend of the veil questline because that's the closest to a tale tall quest your get and they did have adventure but that was a world changing tall tale so it hard to recrate it but having tall tale that give you loot/rep would convince player to play more of them and then making the dev make more of them and also everything they are adding is part of the world storyline so technically a tall tale but you can look into books and commendations everything in the Bilge Rats it's in order of every update and you could try to thread the lore together.
having some mixture of tall tale/quest would be nice and also having isolated tall tale would be nice also
Some of the gameplay was frustrating and the theme is hit or miss with sot players but the Monkey Island tall tales are still so impressive, imo.
It really is amazing what this game has accomplished in some ways.
It's easy to get caught up in the daily frustrations of a live service sandbox, but every time I think about the effort that went into the tall tales it causes me to pause for a bit and just appreciate the really cool stuff that this game has led to.
No way you missed the entire Ashen Arc that literally witnessed the release of King Flameheart himself’s soul from being trapped in his body and made Sticher Jim the Herald of the Flame (may he burn as a pirate for all eternity, that Jim!) which also provided the raw material required to re-create Captain Flameheart’s SKULL after goody two-shoes Pendragon broke his first Skull! 😭 To be fair, it is pretty obscure as there are only two of those Tall Tales and most don’t even know they’re actually an arc like the Shores of Gold, but still! Good thoughts though. I’d love to see Sparrow again, but I think Disney would be iffy on their end about giving Rare permission for a Pirate’s Life II…
