A lot of us like to stay on one server and farm loot for everything by participating in the traditional World Event experience. You guys should seriously add some of the new HC loot to those normal world events. It'd be especially nice cus they could use a little buff in their loot output anyways.
Hunters Call Loot In Non-Raid WEs
@soulstinger2k20 yeah, it just specifically needs to make it into real world events so all emissaries are viable. I don't think the newest loot pools are in the non-raid versions currently.
It feels like Rare, where possible, dislike making changes to existing changes for new content, in the same patch that it's introduced.
Probably to prevent accidentally causing bugs, releasing loot early, etc.
That said, now the content's released, I'd love to see hunters call drops being exclusively in the Meg and Kraken.
You can always raid voyage for the others, and I like having differences between the factions, instead of them all feeling the same.
I'd remove the possibility of 'generic' raid voyages if I could, your levels in each of the factions should tell a story about your playstyle, and getting to 500 in each, shouldn't be a goal necessarily, unless you are willing to play varied content.
@honestauntyelle As a long time pre S11 player I have to hard disagree. Part of the "choice" of playing SoT was whether to hard focus one faction by doing their quests or just do World Events with one of the company flags up. You would always be working towards everything a little bit, but gain 2.5x awards for the thing you had the emmi up for.
On top of that I think staying on one server for PvE is way more fun. I have to sell less and I can really get the experience of having gone on a great adventure, instead of just diving and filling out missions. Also stacking a bunch of loot to finally sell at the end of the session is really fun and I like the feeling of risk.
Finally, encouraging Non-Raid World Event participation and diversifying their loot pools will help bring back parts of the Sandbox that have sadly died out. I mean you can't really tuck on anyone anymore because they always have only 1 quest worth of loot on their boat, or at least there isn't much point to tucking. Also if you're a Gold Hoarder and rob a Merchant emmi boat, you're likely to only get Merchant loot which you get no bonuses on. If that Merchant was participating in basic World Events or world areas (like shrines or sea forts), they would actually have a diverse array of loot that any (except HC) emissary could benefit from.
This is why adding HC loot to the standard sandbox loot pools is so important. From both a player perspective and balance/incentive perspective it will only help to encourage players to play as they please and pursue long lost interactions the game is sorely missing.
Season 11 diving/raids should have always been a secondary "quick mode" to the normal sandbox experience, rather than a second option IMO. The game has truly lost a lot of what it was with that update.
