There has to be a dragon in the sea of thieves. Hear me out, if you've been to the dagger tooth hunter he will be frightened and depending on what chat you select will say something along the lines of this, " I saw a fiery winged creature living in the sea, it burned a whole fleet." Some may say " oh it must be the new meg" megs do not have wings and why would he state it had wings if it didn't fly? Some would say he is too scared to be telling the whole truth, why would they have posters of the new megs if they didn't know what they are? There must be a dragon somewhere and it would make the game quite fun for some of the people who fought the megs and the kraken. What do you all think about this? Comment what you think, smooth sailing for all.
The time has come
Oh, that's just Emerick. His whole characterization is that he's a paranoid loon that spits conspiracy theories. His dialogue when you talk to him has been the same since he and the rest of the Hunter's Call reps were introduced back in 2019.
He also accuses Jonah (the shopkeeper he shares The Wild Treasures Store seapost with) of being a Skeleton Lord who stole his wife Zharich, and that's not true either. Zharich herself mentions he's obsessed with tall tales (not the storyline voyages, but telling grandiose falsehoods) if you talk with her out at the Brian's Bazaar seatpost.
Not sure if a flying dragon-type foe really meshes with the SoT aesthetic when there are so many more fascinating sea monsters available from different mythologies that they could add, instead. Plus combat would be crazy hard to code.
Well, I'm not going to say its not a teaser, because well...Rare...you know? But if it is actually something it's probably a Sea Serpent, historically in old sea tales and stuff, the Sea Serpent has been depicted with wings, scales, electric powers, it's really random the way its depicted to be honest.
