Merchant Crates and Kegs

  • Since season 11, these quests for the Merchant Alliance have been practically non-existent in the game. You can only find them from bottle voyages and mysterious journals, and from those, they're extremely rare compared to the other voyages. This was somewhat more manageable before the removal of barrel voyages, but since their removal, I have seen a grand total of one, I'll say again ONE SINGLE crate voyage and zero for kegs. This is with me grabbing every bottle and journal I come across, too.

This is honestly ridiculous for those of us who want to 100% the commendations. We already have to make an exception with the shrouded commendations, but the ability to 100% the Merchant Alliance commendations being locked behind finding and selling 250 total crates and kegs that are only found on extremely rare chances is ridiculous and entirely unreasonable. That is also ignoring the fact that once you complete one of the crate types, you can still find those, meaning it'll likely be closer to needing to find 400 total voyages for 4 commendations.

This NEEDS to be changed. Add them as a semi-rare possibility from animal voyages, or maybe have them be part of the emissary voyage, just please do SOMETHING to fix these extremely unreasonable commendations that have been broken.

If I gave an estimate for how long I think it would take to find all of these voyages from nothing all the way to 100%, it would likely be in the range of thousands of hours, even if you spend all of your time playing just looking for these voyages, so PLEASE Rare, I'm begging for this to be fixed.

  • For those who doesn't care and are raging:
I understand that those topics are all the same. But please be patient, just ignore us. We are (topic-starter and myself) just trying to be heard by developers, those messages are our only possibility to remind of our problem.
About problem I have nothing new to say. Farming those quests and only those I've managed to get only 40% in like 100 hours. It's not impossible, but it's definitely not the gameplay I want to get from the game. There is no challenge, there is no lore, there is no profit, there is no other players interactions, there is nothing but unbrain grind: getting from isle to isle and running from spot to spot of MJ spawns.
I will be part of these topics until we get at least answer that we are heard.
