Is anyone else tired of the bug where you can't see your pirate anymore in the shop/customize interface?

It's so frustrating going through the shop looking to see what different options there are for your pirate just for your pirate to disappear never to return. What's even worse is that you have to completely exit out of your game and restart it just to fix it. I know they're aware of this issue, but it's been in the game for a long time now and heavily annoys me. I'm just surprised this has never been prioritized since you legitimately have to exit the game just to make a core feature work again which also means saying goodbye to your supplies.
