Reading the patch notes for the upcoming update, I saw that you planned to allow players to dive with the spears. That's a really good choice for hunters. Why not making the same treatment for tridents of darks tides? They are really good and useful for meg hunting and helpful to speedrun events like ashen lords and skeleton forts. It's a small change but I think that thanks to this this item won't be forgotten.

The best/fastest way to defeat ashen lords is by using throwing knives they have the highest dps in the game

Well arguably a stack of kegs would do it quicker! Jokes aside, throwing knives are in a pretty insane place right now since even spears intended specifically for megs are worse than knives against a meg, and maby a toxic dart from time to time.
When one tool is more universally capable of doing the job of a specialized tool, it really brings to question why use the specialized tool over the better option. IMO knives could use a little rework since they are better against everything but gold skeles, than nearly anything else.

They're largely a liability in PvP anyways, so no reason not to let them migrate between dives.

That's how we do it, boat cannons are great for ashen lords also.
Quicker it's done the better.
@sweetsandman yeah, they are useful with the charged bubble to damage a respawning player when you need to sink them and prevent repairs.
