The clerk said there would be a beta code either on the receipt or an email. I haven’t seen either. How will Rare know I preordered and let me into the beta?

I found it. Rare said 24 hours before beta, use the code on back of your card and you’ll get in. Perhaps then Rare will know to give you the black dog pack. On the day of launch (march 20th) go back to the store and get your game and coin.

That’s the scary part of preordering somewhere else, not knowing if you get the same bonuses@dark-shadow9056 @Crude-JC-Gamer The card says it comes with the black dog pack and beta. But I was just curious. I just like having discs and the tangible coin it comes with. Plus if the game flops I can sell it or if something gets erased or anything happens I will always have the game.
@alexx500 I'm not quite sure, but here's how I think it works: You buy the physical copy with a beta code on the receipt and input it into your xbox to download the beta. If not, then I'm not sure.
@wichitarichard Not all retailers will be offering the preorder bonus, you will need to check with them at the point of sale to double check if you will be receiving a code or extra product.
@alexx500 @WichitaRichard this is something you’re going to have to contact Best Buy regarding as they are responsible for distribution of the Beta codes and whatever other perks they have for their preorders.

I'm wondering if the beta code and black dog pack are the same code. I've already got beta access, and would give my preorder code to a friend, but if the preorder code and outfit code are all just one well...
I've just seen it implied here that they are the same. Gamestop has no idea atm about codes on launch. So I'm wondering if anyone has confirmation.
