Hey guys, i created an account 5 moths ago and my tag was SpottyPurse6624, i joined insider program 5 months ago and i got alpha invite,closed beta invite. 10th january was my closed beta invite date.But i tried to connect to my account there is a weird problem my gamertag is TweePainter7994. I tried to contact with Xboxlive support but it didnt help im begging to game developers i waited for the beta so long but i cant reach my gametag so i cant get access for closed beta. Please help me..

It looks very much like you've been logged in with a new gamertag, is it possible you have changed your email address for Sea of Thieves recently? There will be an email address associated with your previous gamertag and you are the only one who will be able to find this, or else try Microsoft Support - confidentiality issues prevent Rare from assisting with this.First off try this too -
Find your first mail from Sea of Thieves, hover over the verify email link, then it'll show the profile name with access in the top right corner or at the bottom of the screen.@katttruewalker Yes i have that mail i clicked that mail and my gamertag is SpottyPurse6624 i can see that i will add the screenshot but when i refreshing the page gamertag is changing.
@tweepainter7994 So when you try and log in here with that email address and those details you end up with twee painter gamertag?
However, if you have access to the tech alpha/beta, you should be able to go to the platform for which you were invited and download the game and play when the Beta starts, the forum tags and badges are separate from game access.
@katttruewalker Yes but im %100 sure my SpottyPurse6624 gamertag email is correct but somehow it shows different gamertag

Microsoft Xbox support are the best way to solve this problem, you need to get access to your old Gamertag SpottyPurse6624 they should be able to verify your details and get you into this account.
We have asked members to do this in the past and they have had good results, maybe try to change the support representative you are talking to.
@musicmee i talked with 2 different support. only they can help way is just saying about a verification code they are sending to my email but i cant see that code so they are not helping me about that gamertag.im sending them screenshots that i got mails from SoT with SpottyPurse6624 tag but still they are not helping... it so weird

I waited for that beta LOOOOoOng time but noone is not truly helping me.i did contact with microsoft support but they didnt heşp me much and they said talk with developers they will tell you the email connected to SpottyPurse6624. Please guys if you like your fans and if you taking care of us please solve my problem

@tweepainter7994 So I just want to break down what is happening with detail: You have an xbox. You created an xbox live account with an email (I will call it email1). For email1, xbox/microsoft gave you a generic gamertag and it was SpottyPurse6624. With email1, you signed up with Sea of Thieves to get into the insider program which allowed you to be in the alpha and also the beta. You mentioned you received an invite (I assume to email1). When you tried to "connect to my account" you said there was a gamertag called TweePainter7994. I am not sure what you mean by "connect to my account" because the gamertag SpottyPurse6624 and email1 are associated with each other.
So my question is, was anyone else logged into hotmail/outlook on the computer you were using and tried to sign up for xbox live with that email? That would provide the answer as to why TweePainter7994 shows up on the Sea of Thieves website - it is for a separate email from email1. Whenever you go to the Sea of Thieves website, it grabs whoever is logged into hotmail/outlook and uses that information. I have two outlook accounts. Roguaxel is my main gamertag and sometimes my other outlook account is signed in, so my gamertag that I created for that outlook account shows up instead of Roguaxel.
So are you saying that you don't know the email at all that is signed up for SpottyPurse6624? Unfortunately, if you know the gamertag and completely forgot the email, there is no way to obtain that information due to Microsofts privacy policy.
So as a recap, I feel that another email was logged into on your computer, and it was one that was also signed up for xbox live with the GT TweePainter7994. If you do know the SpottyPurse6624 email, sign into outlook and come back to the site. Otherwise, if you forgot your email then unfortunately there is nothing that can be done.
@rogueaxel First im not playing on xbox, im a pc player and no im the only who uses my pc and have access to my mails
This feels like you actually have done something strange with your account to be honest, this “new” account was created 6 days ago it seems when checking your profile..
Check your inbox after the “real” mail that you saw your invite, SS it and show it to Xbox support. Rare can’t help you with this issue it’s something Microsoft Xbox support needs to investigate like all the other deckhands have said...
@smerof-the-king dude dont you understand me? i talked with microsoft support 2 times. i send them everyscreenshot i have but they cant do anyshit because they are sending an verif.code to my mail but i dont receive any code so they cant help me.Dont blame. Check SpottyPurse6624 create day too. as i said i created in august and you can see that too and i didnt login after i joined insider. I am the aggrieved member here not devs.
