  • i found the ads speed pretty comfortable for me at least. and there always is hip fire, which is usually what i use anyways for close quarters with the blunderbuss.

EDIT: i guess the pistol could be a bit smoother though

  • @boaton you can just edit this one if you want

  • @boaton The ADS is slow, but I think it's great. Too many forget that this isn't a FPS. I can't begin to tell you how many I killed with a blade during the Beta while they fooled around with guns.

  • @shadowstrider-7 i agree, i find the that the sword is perfect for on-ship/land battles, while underwater i use guns. i think a lot of newcomers underestimate the power of the sword. plus you can parry with it too, to make some interesting combat.

  • Sensitivity when looking through the scope on the musket needs to be improved. It's far too slow.

Everything else works perfectly fine though imo.

I played the beta on the pc and i had exactly your same feelings, everything was perfect except the aiming with the sniper. Sometimes i couldn't keep up the speed with the sharks, and they swim very slow. I was using 16000 dpi mouse with the in game mouse speed at minimum (1) Turning around the character was very quick and smooth but the aiming with the sniper way to slow.

Do you think guys they use the same settings for pc and xbox? Meaby thats the problem

  • Agreed entirely, posted over on the feedback thread about this too. I play at a very very low sensitivity and because the ADS is just a [Your speed x slower] it made some of the guns incredibly slow in ADS. I got used to it but it involved having to already pretty much have my aim on them, then ADS'ing.

Would definitely like to see a change to this in release.
