At first I admit I thought that “having the most welcoming and inclusive multiplayer community” was an advertising death sentence for this game, but it turns out the fact that it almost makes no sense for a pirate game, is why it was needed and works. Just imagine a pirate game without such a huge emphasis on this! I don’t think I want to. Lol.
This community is one of the best games I have had the pleasure of being a part of, and have enjoyed for well over a year . Sea of Thieves is the only game where I have ran into other players on an ongoing basis - completely annihilating each other time and time again, only to run into them or matched with them in another session, recognize each other, become friends, and talk about the times we destroyed each other, then go back to being "enemies".
