WHERE ARE THE CHICKENS?

    If you've messed around with the merchant alliance in the new beta, you will know that you need to collect either pigs or chickens for the missions.

    I've searched countless islands and found a few pigs, but NO CHICKENS
    Anyone got tips?

    @elephantghost26 Try Thieves Haven, there should be some at the base of the waterfall, also Smuggler's Bay.

    @elephantghost26 I forget where, but they are around just like pigs, roaming! I found plenty of pigs but fewer chickens. Sorry I couldn't help more, I thought exactly the same thing when I was searching for the chickens the first time. Not sure if this has changed.

    I don't recommend to go to Chicken Isle. Me and friend went there to find chickens. But we did not find any. But yeah, just go to Thieves Haven or something similar.

    Id suggest leaving the wilds if thats where you are currently,, dont have much luck down there and youre better off in sunnier climates :P. Unlike others I do have success at chicken isle...that said its all kind of a guessing game, thats the mystery of it. Wouldnt be as fun if it were just the same island each time :P

    the bigger the island, the more chance you have. sail by islands and check through your eye glass. if your on an island then you can hear them if they are near. hope this helps

    I went to Chicken Island, but that was too obvious and there were no chickens! haha. Went to a bigger island with lots of grass, I think it was Discovery Island, and there was abundance of Chicken. Catching them is fun.

    @ansgarz Ahoy! The cages can be acquired by talking to the trader that gave you the quest.

    @freakytrain-180 There is no way to humanely empty the cage currently... the blunderbuss does work nicely in the meantime.

    Has anyone swam underwater whilst carrying a caged Chicken? Chicken don't like it. can't breath. haha. I like the little details like that RARE added.

    @secretbeef You need to get a cage from the merchant trader :)

    Or find a coop lying around the shores...

    The Chickens aren't spawning enough. I sat at Chicken Island for a day but no joy. Found some on another Island.

    @hsv4me Chicken Isle is named for its shape, not whether or not chickens spawn there.
