Joined a crew of 2 random people and helped them complete their voyage. As turning in our quest we decided to go towards a skull cloud that just appeared. As trying to fight this fort, a sloop repeatedly kept attacking us, returning each time after we sunk it for more blood.
We took out 5-6 waves, while fighting off the sloop, but eventually the repeated attacks were too much. After much heated exchanged, on the ferry of the damned a truce was meant. Take down the fort, share the rewards.
After a hard faught battle we took down the captain and his minions, and opened the vault. The loot was plenty. After an agreed upon settlement, some music playing (5 man band!) and much chitter chatter we decided to sail back to the outpost, only a skip and a jump away, to sell our goods. We even joked how funny it would be if we ran into the kraken after all this while trying to turn in the goods.
It was in jest, but poseidon was listening. The sloop, which was a bit ahead of use, came under attack from the mighty kraken. I realized this when in a panic, when one of my crew shouted "its after them and not us!!!" We see half a dozen tentacles surround the sloop.
Do we defend our new found brethren? Do we attack this mighty beast? Nye. We take a wide turn around the Kraken and and head straight for the outpost. We see our buddies ship get torn assunder by the wrapping tentacles as we start turning in out loot.
One heck of a Maiden voyage, a story to tell my little pirate legends. Cannot wait to experience more of this! What were some of the stories from your first voyage?
