Ingame Gamertag won't update/change

I have started playing SoT today and I am facing a Problem/Bug right now. When I first logged in I had the random generated name from XBox Live ('MilbeKohorte595'). So I went and changed my Gamertag to 'Hunter D Johny'. Altough the name in the game menu did in fact change, the name of my pirate (in the crewlog and ingame) did not update. I already tried deleting my pirate and made a new one, but the name remained. I even reinstalled the game but it doesn't seem to work.
While I already reported this bug I still want to know if somebody else has/had the same problem and maybe even solved it.
