I haven't done a raid since launch, only in beta. I'm curious if they're actually worth the effort. I did a 4 skeleton order of souls mission that had tons of special skeletons. It was a lot of trouble for about 2k gold.
How much have you guys gotten from the raid chests?

Wasn’t much trouble for me I stole one from a galleon and made 2900 off it in the matter of seconds lol@maia I assume you mean skeleton forts? I did one solo and got all the loot, cashed it in and got 12000 and some odd gold!
@maia oh my bad you said said "chest" ill read more carfeully in the future but i got 3000 for the chest yesterday

Oh okay. Yeah when I did the fort in beta I only got 1 chest so I wasn't really sure.
How long did it take solo? O.o
Soloing it can take 1-2 hours depending on how many deaths you have ;)

I hope they raise the values. That's pretty disappointing considering the time and risk.I think they will. The only real risks though is getting it to turn in point. 4 man crew can raid the hell out of a stronghold easily. Don't want people farming the places so there would have otbe an adjustment of AI difficulty.
@lord-boblet Damn congrats I thought mine was bugged after the first 3 hours of release I tried to solo it andt 3am but was met with so much death and so many waves but I ended up giving up after an hour as I thought this is taking way to long lol

Kudos to those who solo. My lord. I bet the experience was somewhat fun at least haha don't know if it's worth it solo though

There's always the risk you'll be halfway or almost done and another group attacks you because they saw your ship. Wasted time if you're sunk

Luckily they fought each other while I loaded one more thing and made an escape.
When the surviving galleon made to chase me, he got KRAKEN'D
I circumnavigated him and got the rest of the loot.

There is a ton more loot then there was in the beta.
In the beta people were like "really this is more then a crew can carry?"But in the final release you understand what they meant by that.
Keep in mind though that prices are also higher though so that may be why skeleton forts dropped less loot in the beta.4,000-5000 for fort chest + 4,000-5,000 for fort skull(not in beta) + ~4,000-5,000 in other random loot (very rough estimates). My crew got 13,000g for turning in all the loot at a skeleton fort.
Pay more attention to @steffoyargh s numbers, I've only done like one or two skeleton fort hulls and don't really remember the numbers except once we got right about the 13,000 mark.
Just did my first raid tonight.
Took 4 of us about 45 min and was way longer than we expected. Lots of chests and skulls inside the room, about 10 items total.
Unfortunately shortly after leaving the shore we bumped into the kraken. It grabbed ahold of our ship and took it down! DAMN IT! We then all respawend to a new ship that we voted to destroy and sink to our deaths all togeather...while drinking, dancing and playing music.
Even tho i lost an hours work this game is fun! I had a blast with my friends fighting wave after wave.
