Can't get past crew screen (error is Coarsebeard)

    The full message that I get:

    Sea of Thieves failed to setup a crew session. Please try again.
    (Coarsebeard)

    When I look at the FAQ regarding the error "beard" types, Coarsebeard isn't even there. what gives?

    I had the same issue. Just restarted the game and everything is running fine

    It may be because your game was not fully updated. Try and see if it can update on the Microsoft store..
