Play with someone next to me

if you LAN with 2 systems sure :D splitscreen is dead in todays games

You can play with someone seated next to you, you just have to be using separate systems. The game cannot be played splitscreen, but you can have multiple people playing it on the same connection as long as you both have your own systems to play it on.

I play on Xbox and PC here and it works brilliantly, did the same with GOW4 on gamepass and it's a hoot! I have a gaming PC but would imagine you could get SOT to play at low level graphics on a reasonably basic PC, correct me if I'm wrong.

My son, and friends do this with one on xbox and one on pc both using TVs as monitors.

Don't forget you own the game in both formats. Switching back and forth is a bit buggy (too many apps) but it works.
