Only had this a few times during solo or coop but I know it can also be apparent on galleons. Sometimes I’ve been playing with a full crew and one of us experiences no wind direction whilst the rest of the crew do.

Sometimes, when there are lots of swirly wind things floating around, I get a bit confused... Maybe it's my failing eyesight, but I can be turning the sail the opposite direction to what I need, cuz I think the swirls are going in the opposite direction to what they are!When I'm not sure of wind direction, I look up to the flag to confirm what position I need- & increasingly, I'm finding that I use the flag more & more, & the swirly things less & less...
@coffeeart687098 I’m definitely going to reprogram my SoT brain and get used to using this technique. Considering a real life situation you WOULD look at the flag on top of the crows nest, as you wouldn’t actually see wind direction ha! Thanks again.
