But I like the snakes..... What did they ever do to you? Did one bite you while you were fighting skeletons? So much fun trying to fight with a purple screen. Were you eating a banana only to have one bite and kill you? Gotta become a faster eater... Or my favorite, forgot to regain health and are digging up a treasure only to get sent to the ferry of the damned with your chest still half way in the sand. The snakes are so much fun lol...
@khol-thndrwlkr it doesn’t blind you that much, most games literally put a solid block of colour on your screen rendering your sight useless, at least you can still play the game while poisoned
@prodigy-burns it seems to me that their range varies, sometimes I get snakes that shoot me from halfway across the ship, but sometimes you can literally be on the bowsprit with them.

Actually, it blinds me completely. I'm colorblind and the almost complete coverage of the venom blurs everything into an indecipherable mess. When I'm hit with venom, I cannot do anything but wait for it to start fading.

I do really like the snakes and would like to see more animals eventually added. I just wish it was a damage over time OR immediate damage + blinding.
I personally have no problem with the snakes,,, wish there was more dangerous elements to this game.
My only complaint with snakes, is that there are sometimes upwards of 30 on smaller islands. It can get old hearing the sound of hissing 24/7 while listening for other things. On your boat, that’s understandable but just make them less “hissy” on islands.
And less pro-creative I guess. Snakes, it had to be snakes....

This is the most ridiculous thread I’ve seen in a while. There is literally no reason for removing snakes. You’ve offered no tangible reason other than you don’t like them.
Are there no better things we could talk about? ... and btw ... more variety of animals ARE needed in the game ... as is all variety.

To be honest, it is a bit of both satire, humor and honest disgust against the snakes in game.
Of course they don't have to remove them, but man they're so super annoying. I wouldn't cry if they did.

I think people just have not really used the snake on the boat strat, which is a really good use for them, but perhaps you could tame them in the basket so they won't attack you and only enemies? That would make the snake situation a lot better since right now it's a hassle to get an snake on board then once it's on board all it takes is one cannonball and it's dead.

Hey this is just as constructive as the same exact reply many people give when someone asks for safe zones, PvE mode, optional cross play, etc.
So if it is good enough for the suggestions you don't like, it is good enough for suggestions I don't like.

@greaseman85 I don’t like the suggestions about optional cross play or PvE servers either, I think that would ruin the game for people who love the PvP aspect like me. But explain things to people instead of just saying “nooooo that goes against RARE’s vision for the game” you sound like a complaining little kid just like the people complaining about so-called “greifers”
@khol-thndrwlkr turn up your brightness, or change your colour settings on your pc/Xbox, there’s plenty of settings to change the colour scheme for colour blind players, surprised you don’t know about this, and anyway no offence but that’s just you and other people with colour deficiencies
