Can't dig up a chest because it's under a rock.

    While my crew was doing a Legendary Voyage, on one of the last legs of the voyage we ran into this pickle. The X for the last chest of Kraken's Fall was directly under a giant mass of boulders. We fumbled around with it for over an hour, digging up nearby and fighting off the endless hoards of Athena's skeletons. The four of us wasted nearly two hours trying to dig this up. I don't particularly care about whatever loot that last X was going to be, but I do VERY much care about the chest of legends we would have obtained immediately after.

    I'm not sure what capabilities the team has, but I'd very much like to be compensated for my frustration and lost time... If you could somehow add the equivalent in Athena's reputation to my account, that'd be fantastic.

    I should clarify that when I said 2 hours I meant on the quest overall, not specifically on this chest. We spent about an hour doing the rest of the voyage before wasting another trying to dig up this chest. I'm pretty irritated so I made a few mistakes, this is the only one I'm gonna bother correcting.

    Are you sure there is no cave network that leads to that spot? So it is under the rock in a cave with a floor that can be dug?

    I kept thinking that. I know there's a cave that runs N/S just barely East of that, but I can't remember one directly under that spot.. I'm at work now so I can't look for myself either.

    He did say him and 3 others spent a good hour? Looking. Idk, imma stay tuned for a mod or legends response.

    I love GH maps.. I've never found a bugged one yet.

    I assure you there was no tunnel nearby, we even swam out off the island looking for a potential underwater passage.

    I wish I had that map - I'd love to see if something was overlooked.

    Haven't encountered a broken map yet - just really ridiculous 'proc' areas.

    @blooddoll22 I think it's far too strange a coincidence for both of us-- two separate crews capable enough to get to the end chapter of a Legendary Voyage-- to spend hours looking for the exact same chest on the exact same island in the exact same position and not find it.

    the X r fixed they r not random, it must be somwhere around there,but yes it looks strange

    Well it's a legendary voyage, it's not meant to be easy to find. Most of the time when I can't find a chest it's because I'm not at the exact same spot and it really makes sense after.

    We dug everywhere on that side of the island. There wasn't an inch left un-dug. This isn't a case of us missing it. We have never missed a chest, nor given up on one before. Besides, in the past legendary chests haven't been very difficult to find. At least not any more difficult than a normal chest.

    Well I had one on Plunder Valley a few days ago same as yours, well hidden near the rocks. It just took some time to find the right spot.

    Make that 3 crews. Had this happen last night. Spent over an hour and a half looking. Also found another post about this on these walls so likely a fourth. Likely not the last

    I HAD THIS EXACT SAME ISSUE YESTURDAY WHEN A FRIEND INVITED ME BECAUSE THE COULDNT FIND A CHEST EXACT SAME SPOT

    Most here wont believe me but we had this EXACT same issue. After about 30+mins of finagling around we finally were able to get a HIT on the chest. Mind you we couldnt dig it up for some reason but we were able to tap it and get the completion.

    Not if it was the Athena Chest man I hate to read this! Sucks

    It's complicated to say if it's glitched or not. I played so many hours and I've always found all the check marks on the maps. Some took time but I've always found them. You should take some screenshots and send them to Rare.

    Its not complicated. Multiple players have had the same issue, Its a bug/glitch. Nothing complicated about seeing something for what it is.

    I had a similar experience on Thieves Haven, also during a legendary quest.

    We managed to find a spot to the side of the X and it would start coming up. Very fortunate.
