Commendations, used as a way to show our Progress with a new Cosmetic option.

    So a new type of Cosmetic idea. One that will Prove your Worth to the sea and your prefered alliance.
    Simply put: Pins/Badges that resemble your Commendation progression.

    As an example: You are doing a merchant Voyage and you are about to turn in your golden chicken to claim your reward. When this happens it seems to be your 10th chicken. So you complete a commendation. When this happens you are now able to buy a Pin/Badge that looks like the Commendation title picture (The higher commendation you complete, the better the Pin/Badge looks).

    The Pin/Badge should be placed on the character chest in my opinion.

    What do you guys think about this? I thought that this could also be a new way for people to find another purpose in the game to chase the Commendations aswell as you are completing voyages. You get that extra Grind to deal with ;)

    @sorston Not a bad idea at all. But I'd worry it'd get a bit busy.

    If there was a limit to how many pins you could wear then fair enough. It would also be a cool way to show a characters personality by what commendations they choose to have on show.

    I personally would like them on my belt.

    Still a brilliant idea!

    @dreadpirate9200 I was thinking somthing like it that you only choose to wear one Pin at a time (same as with titles) But a belt where you can have your Pins/Badges would also make sense!

    @sorston I'm all for anything that allows us to show our in-game achievements on our characters. This is a cool idea - the commendation icons would make cool pin badges.

    @sorston Yeah! or even being able to pick a couple. Having 3 or 4 badges on your lapel or belt or even a hat would be a real nice addition to the cosmetics.
