When I say add dailies I do indeed mean add activities that reward you and reset every 24 hours which games like world of warcraft have used for ages now but it could be varied each day and promote varied gameplay plus it would of course be optional to do them. Examples like sink 2 ships today and be rewarded with X. This promotes pvp but on on the opposite end you could have something like give a captains chest to one random player ship today etc. Different days would push the players into different directions and add an element of randomness to it that could change things up. It would also (I believe) be pretty quick and easy to implement something like this and encourages people to log in even briefly on a daily basis. Perhaps a large bonus weekly reward for completing all dailies in that given week. There's a bunch of different types to come up with of course but overall I think it would break up the questing and forts a bit. Opinions?
Add interesting dailies to the game?
@terron29
Someone did a thread for a daily event that I thought sounded great. Their idea was to have sunken ruins/islands rise from the bottom. See the link below for a better description.
https://www.seaofthieves.com/forum/topic/50571/cursed-island-raid@terron29 This has the potential to be a good idea. Reminds me of Halo:Reach which had daily and weekly challenges which rewarded you with XP. SoT that reward could be a quest, gold or XP. What the daily events would be is another question. Also Rare did say they are going to do regular or weekly events starting after The Hungering Deep.
