Am I the only drunken pirate arrgghhh

    I've come to realise that a percentage of players are laid back pirates due to smoking ( no hate ) kudos to you all! So far I have not met a pirate online whom likes to play amd have fun while drinking other then myself. I have indeed come across players who enjoy my company and have fun but i feel like a loof because I do drink while playing but I get things done! If this sounds like you in anyway and you see me online send an invite :) we be the drunken pirates of the sea :)

    The game is more fun while drinking, but I’m an alcoholic so when I drink I have to start late with enough alcohol to keep me from walking to get more when it runs out.

    @holezinya lol not sure what to say here its like 50/50 half of me wants be that good person who says being an alcoholic is wrong and I'm here for you but the other half of ke wants to say i like your answer and feel the same i do drink more now that my mom passed 7 months ago but it does help it akso helps make things more fun in SOT specailly when you get attacked by pitate legends and loose everything

    Do you mean drinking grog in game or drinking alcohol in real life while playing?

    If in game, it makes you dizzy and unable to move, making you a liability.
    If In real life, I don't drink alone at home I only drink if I'm going out out.

    I've played slightly drunk a few times. Usualy with a few stoner friends, that I've met in SoT. Still, we're pretty good at what we do.

    @ElfOnAshelf52 I'm sorry about your mum and I hope SoT is helping with the grieving. It certainly keeps you occupied in a fun way!

    I'm neither a smoker nor a drinker but it's great that you can play the game however you choose, adding to the fun.

    I'm fine with smokers, drinkers etc. long as it doesn't affect your fellow pirates, you do you.
    But shiver my timbers was I shocked at the number of smokers I've encountered. It's downright silly. Especially since I've never met a fellow drinker in game.

    What ever happened to just gaming, and relaxing with a cold one?

    I might definitely send you an invite Elf, would be nice to game with a fellow drunken pirate for a change.

    Oh we are there. Just in private chat, we don't need our banter ruining another players time in proxichat.

    Like a fish. Once stole skull fort loot drunk and forced my crew to get drunk in game the entire way to the outpost. Brigged the guy who refused to drink. Instrument check for compliance.
    But yeah. Don't smoke weed at all but I drink at least a 6 pack a night after work.
