Strange word on profanity list that has me all kinds of confused. lol

    So among my friends we use the normal internets words like "Hewwo, hai, and b*i." But SoT's chat flags "b*i" for some reason. Is this some kind of insult in another language? Im genuinely confused. lol

    Edit: Its flagging it here to. O.o "B a i" what is going on? D:

    They've got some strange filters in place, to be sure.

    Heck, part of my name gets censored when people reply to me in a thread.

    I got banned from here for bypassing their stupid word filter like that.
    The funniest thing to me is that whilst someone here may get their pantys in a bunch over language - one mod is a real en aye zed eye about it in particular! (wouldn't be surprised if they came in and somehow modified or deleted this post!)
    But yet you watch any stream or gameplay video- including some that have been promoted by rare and ms themselves, and it's all eff this, and eff that.
    Cursing like sailors! Ha

    So yeah, not sure why these forums are treated so spectacularly stupidly when the game itself is rife with foul language. And yes, the word filter is a joke!

    Aye. I caught a mod enforcement for “evading the filter” and spelling out a totally clean word. Seems this crew can’t stomach critics.

    Yeah man, that's literally what my proper account got permabanned for!
    Not a swear word or anything. Just a synonym for cowardly!
    One of my fave moments was just the other day.
    Dude gets a fully worded warning for some language or something whilst being critical of the game.

    Another guy comes in and basically issues a bunch of death threats and vulgarity.

    Mod simply deletes it and essentially says "death threats are against the rules" - no warning, nothing.

    They don't warn people if they're being an absolute teste, as long as they're defending rare whilst doing so.

    Heck, this will probably get me b& - for "discussing disciplinary action" or whatever stupid defense clause gives overzealous mods free reign to ban people they disagree with!

    But yeah, on topic - word filter filters stuff that isn't even inappropriate, as long as it has similar form or spelling to a naughty bad word!
