Like i inderstand they are territorial and such and aggressive but at the same time why are they attacking ships that are just sailing through? Every time I have played recently the megalodon has attacked us and we are on a sloop. Just did a cargo run and it broke our rum bottles from biting the boat. We didn't shoot it till after it attacked us. Is there a way to keep the megalodons from attacking us all the time? Like this is seriously getting annoying amd making me wonder if playing again is even worth it. Also this is anywhere the map, not just one specific spot or anything. No matter where we are on the map we have had megalodons foloow and attack us.
Why does the megalodon attack randomly?
@galactic-geek that's what we have been doing. The annoying part is though we were just sailing and the thing just came up roaring and took a bite out of our boat, hence causing the rum bottles to break. The only reason our bottles broke so badly was because the megalodon bit us twice (two different ones each bit us once), otherwise our cargo stuff would have been perfect. :/
@cheshiretora Well, at least you didn't have to worry about volcanoes like I did yesterday - out of a potential 5600, I only got 700...
@galactic-geek even in devil's roar we have had the megalondon chase us, also careful the rum is explosive if a fire ball hits the boat. We found that out the hard way when we both died from it
