What else besides restarting your CPU and closing and re opening the game to get this to stop...

@theemrfluff anytime this occurs, the easy fix that I’ve done time and time again is complicated, but it is a one-step solution.

Here's the fix for those who haven't seen the other post:
Start SoT and get to the screen that it hangs on "Checking for Fake Coins". Hold down CTRL, SHIFT + ESC to pop open task manager. Once you have the task manager open, you should see an arrow option for Sea of Thieves to expand it further and you'll see 2 options. Runtime and Sea of Thieves. Left click the Runtime and end task and click back on the game. You should be loading in, past the "Checking for Fake Coins" screen. Hopefully this works for everyone else.
