I think there should be a thing with the Red Sea. My idea is either a riddle or Some voyage, we have to then sail through the Red Sea and end up in some new sacred land. You and your crew mates have to put all hands on deck to keep your ship alive as you sail, you need to fill your boat up with as much wood as you can to survive. Maybe even have some creatures coming out of the water as you sail? (Kind is like the trench scene in Aquaman). It would be cool if there was something special about the Red Sea. Reply if you have any further ideas, or think this is a good one.
Red Sea “mission”
Maybe after you sail through the Red Sea you have to find a sort of MEGA boss, this could be any sort of creature or ship or anything. An example of a good creature would be a Charybdis which is basically a giant whirlpool (or monster who causes massive whirlpools).
This could also be a very interesting way to add a new chest/loot item into the game.I've always like the idea of the Red Sea transporting you somewhere. What if... it was simply a "wormhole" which you sailed through, that caused some damage, but you found yourself at exactly the opposite point of the map from the entry point.
So, for instance; You enter the Red Sea at the North East corner of the map, then exit the Red Sea at the South West corner. Likewise, if you wanted a quick route to the Devil's Roar, but were spawned in the North West, you could enter the Red Sea there, then exit in the South East of the Devil's Roar.
The consequence of using the Red Sea too much might be destruction though, as each time you enter the Red Sea this way, it severely damages/weakens your ship. Maybe there's a maximum limit of 3 times before your ship is damaged beyond repair and sunk.
The issue is that the Devil's Shroud has no known pockets of safety, as they would have been discovered on one of the many voyages into it from the outside. Also, if you were to make it out of it, you would just be in the normal world.
I like the idea of sailing through a border of fog that leads to the unknown, no map, no nothing only sailing at your own risk and you could end up lost with no way back or on some mysterious forgotten island with riches beyond the imagination only heard of in rumors.
After finding it the only way back is to solve a complex changing riddle or through the ship of the damned.
