I think they are probs coming in the next mega update. pretty sure someone said they already had the designs for them done

I'm pretty sure all of the designs for these types of things have been done for a very long time. Hence the fact that the Ghost Hurdy Gurdy is visible in the Pirate Legend Tavern, and Blind Bob in the Legend Tavern holds the Ghost Tankard.

I suspect that they have the items ready to go, but they're looking for what they see as an appropriate opportunity to release them. This dripfeeding practice allows them to get a lot more mileage out of each cosmetic set they have on hand.

My personal opinion:

I hate the way they're dripfeeding the cosmetics. I understand the idea and can agree with the practice to an extent, but they way they do it feels entirely too slow.

Exhibit A: With Shrouded Spoils they decided this would be the right time to include some new Pirate Legend equipment as rewards for the new Athena commendations. Well that's great, but only bringing in 6 new equipment pieces is entirely too slow of a dripfeed, I thought that update should have brought the weapons to the game too.

Exhibit B: I've seen promo art that includes other pieces of the Wailing Barnacle set such as the eye patch. They released the jacket and hat way back over the Summer, and no more pieces of the clothing since. What are we waiting for here?

Exhibit C: This is more speculation, but the Mercenary ship set seems to be incomplete. No figurehead, capstan, cannons, or wheel were released. Maybe that set doesn't have those pieces? But I sure hope they aren't resorting to dripfeeding ship sets too. This will be disappointing.
