The Gold and Glory weekend has been a huge help. Ranked up from 36 on Friday to finally hit 50 last night. 300k gold to 1.4 million. Gonna miss earning gold so much easier haha.
Finally got ahold of that secret shanty tune. Can't wait to see what else is coming to the game on the 20th, see ya'll on the seas!

Made over $300k this weekend. Sunday night was a good haul.
Prolly gained about 8-10 levels across the board, but.... not reachin legend in the next two days.
I feel you matey. The pirate lords just happened to bless me with a few alliances and quick skull forts haha.
Also the reapers run voyage was a nice loot maker too!

That 1% isn't real.
It's higher than that. Achievement list is tracking from every single person who has ever loaded up the game a single time. The % on how many people have even set sail is a joke if you go by those numbers lol.
I'd like proper % of active players that are legends pls Rare. I'm positive it isn't as low as 1%

That and any late game statistic is in fact correct based on how Microsoft calculates and defines them (# who've unlocked the achievement/# who've started or played the game). It is those early game achievements that are off due to the launch week issues where achievements were turned off (and many who played that week under Game Pass or whatever never logged back in to unlock them). Those will never be correct unless all those people log in to the game again, possibly having to re-earn them.
Now if you base it off current player populations, then you would be right about it being higher....but that is not how the achievement percentages are calculated.

No. I am not surprised by any of this. The majority of pirates do not do anything but drink grog, spam music, and shoot themselves out of cannons.
I would not even be surprised if they cannot even find their own boat when leaving the tavern.

Once again, this has nothing to do with people doing what you say and is due to the launch week issues where achievements were turned off and any earned by non-returning players in that period have not unlocked for them as they haven't booted the game up again. These are either people who tried it at launch using a Game Pass trial or those who bought and returned it shortly afterwards, as well as starting the game without playing (changing mind, accidentally starting it etc) or doing what you suggest - the last two is likley small but still a contributing factor to those early game achievements being off.
Even if you were correct, how does 32% equal a majority?
