Windows taskbar (bottom) and application options (top right) showing up when i look up and down. No posted fixes work. Need a fix, not a threat from a mod about reviving old threads.

    it's pitiful that this is still an issue this far after release.

    games from the windows store: when you look up or down, you'll get the app options or windows taskbar (respectively). changing User Account Control had no effect. disabling windows explorer had no effect.

    where is the fix for this? i just spent money on this game and i can't even play it.

    one screen. 1920x1080.

    personally, i believe the issue is with the windows games store, as it affects all windows games, but i cannot find an option to disable it there.

    @foxdodge That doesn't work for UWP apps such as Sea of Thieves, feel free to try it yourself. Fullscreenizer is for apps that use regular windowed/fullscreen mode, not the stupid Windows fullscreen mode. It does work, however it isn't actually fullscreen when you use it so it's kind of pointless.

    Nice, looks like rare doesn't allow you to link images here or something even though it appears to work in the preview. I highly doubt we'll ever see a fix for this issue, though, as they clearly don't care at all.
