Surge in 360 quick scope???

  • Any one else notice a surge of players in Arena using an EoR in extreme close quarters quick turn and hitting almost every shot? Hate to say it but the majority of players doing this when checking recent players are PC.

    Thoughts?

  • Never seen it. Sorry.

  • Never seen it either

  • Not really, blunder is still prevalent

  • Must have been a string of bad luck games. Finding those crews with that play style

  • how are they doing a 360 and killing you? are you running past them?

  • I'm curious as to why they are bothering to turn 360 degrees to kill you when you are already in front of them?

If they have that kind of time/skill, they deserve the kill.

  • @archangel-timmy

Because if they were doing this then the likelihood (or at least suspicion) would be that they were running an aimbot hack. They work by simply having an opposing player in line of sight. They fire automatically and don’t miss. Spinning allows the player to cover a wide area.

  • @dadiodude this is not counter strike.

  • @k1lroyw4sh3r3 I can tell you that i sometimes do a 360 to reset my aim or just for fun, before i shoot.

Elite controller my friend; turn up the sensitivity to something respectable and you can actually compete on an even playing field..

Just expect to do 1 of 2 things.. Have an extra 150 bucks ready for another Elite controller when it breaks..

    OR

Know how to repair it; not actually all that challenging.

  • @swimplatypus7 I have an Elite controller which helped immensely for all games. Allowing to fine tune the sensitivity was great for games that had no deadzone settings.

I guess I should explain better what i was seeing.

I’d approach said pirate from behind. Since most people don’t stand still in games the pirate was moving around. I don’t move in straight lines I do my best to be a hard target even in cramped quarters. The pirate would turn around there would be no animation of them putting the EoR up to their face. They had nothing in their hands then you’d see the pirate begin to pull out the EoR and it would be instant that I was hit. There’s no way it could have been hip fire. I was almost within cutlass distance when I was hit. Then I would die almost immediately after the EoR hit to their flintlock hit.

This pirate did this to the whole crew and would only miss if you were behind something. Yet the pirate would still fire at you when you behind the captain room walls. This is what leads to my suspicions.

Was curious if anyone else has witnessed this type of gameplay.

  • @swimplatypus7 I had 2 elite controllers break within 3 months the exact same way. They're great!

    ...until they're not.

I refuse to buy another until they fix it, and it looks like I will be getting my wish as a better 1 was unveiled at E3.

  • @galactic-geek

Yeah they're amazing but the insides are made of glass.

Some parts off the china express will have you fixed up in 30 min tho.
