Help finding Captain Douglas Skull in Revenge of the Morningstar

The ‘south’ translations might actually be ‘face’. That would make more logical sense for the riddle.

All instances of south here would be face instead. That might make more sense.

So it’d be:
From cave camp face north east walk 7 face North Star walk when rock face setting sun walk when lord face north west walk 3 dig

Note: Lord in this case doesn’t make sense. I think it’d be something else, though I can’t recall what it would be.
