@Capn-Mcquacken PvE servers would hurt the games economy and community. Lets face it the only challange in PvE is the threat of someone sinking you meaning if that threat is taken away everyone could easily just farm forts and FOTD. Just because you dislike getting attacked and lose PvP fights doesn't mean that people who play for PvP should suffer. It isn't a "PvP centric attitude" just an understanding of what this game is supposed to be a PvPvE game. Not PvP and PvE like destiny or the division. That is what makes this game unique. And as for people spawn camping you even though you have no loot. Just scuttle your ship? so many people ignore the fact that you can easily stop that from happening just by pressing a button, there is litterally a notice in the Ferry Of The Damned

@usualbarley8154 what are the qualities of a pirate? Look at the history of pirates then come back to us. Then also look up the definition of a Thief because as stated in the title we are all thieves in this game to some degree, or it is atleast a core mechanic of the game, simply removing it for your own benefit is stupid.

hmmmmm? not really. they are just adventurers/sailors without the key pirate elements of swashbuckling(fighting) and plundering(stealing) a core mechanic of a PIRATE GAME! why do you think they call stealing films piracy?

@usualbarley8154 then why are you arguing for PvE servers if you love PvP? This will just ruin PvP even more. And i mean seen as we are all pirates and thieves are in the title then yeah. Thats like saying a fifa game could include rugby or golf. It is a game based upon history or more importantly pirate mythology, no it does not have to follow it 100% but the basics like pirates are thieves should be followed
@alien93 It will not be changed, if you want to learn the mechanics of the game consider the maiden voyage. That is the only form of PVE in the game. The adventure world was designed for the pirate feel and if you don’t like it the way it is I’m sorry to say that SoT just may not be for you. It’s a pirate game and a PVE server would eliminate the whole pirate them of the game. Play with experienced pirates or practice on your own and you’ll thrive on the Sea of Thieves. If you choose not to it is completely your choice because in that case you’ll never enjoy the game.

You could use that point but again please look up the definition of piracy and pirate. you are being ignorant to my points and just saying "WeLl i CaN gEt CallEd a PiRatE sO tHaT mAkEs ME a PirATE" no you have to have the characteristics of a pirate to be a pirate. It is not a self given title. removing PvP would remove the Piracy from a Pirate game
@alien93 listen buddy. It's a pirate game and it's only natural for people to act like pirates. If u are mad with the level of hostility, maybe try playing another game.
@usualbarley8154 people can play however they want in the game currently and that is the beauty of this game. People can easily escape PvP just by driving away. However the addition of PvE servers would ruin PvP as there would be no loot to steal and no reason to PvP probably increasing the amount of Trolls in the game
@usualbarley8154 it isn't an opinion and my points do matter. Because this is a pirate game it needs piracy elements. Who is going to steal your loot if no one can? again i will make the point. Sea Of THIEVES! Not sea of adventurers or friends or anything else. You are removing one of the core mechanics of the game

It is like if i asked you to remove the PvP from rust or another alike game, Just because you wanted to build and explore in peace. Your points are more opinionated than mine(Even though i don't even think mine are opinions). The developers intended PvP to be a core mechanic, that is a FACT. Digging/finding loot in the ground or getting a skeleton head is not stealing and that is a FACT! it has been buried there by someone with a map/instructions to find it. It is hardly stealing if you are given tips on how to find it.

@usualbarley8154 not exactly? yes in the game you can earn the title of pirate without PvPing but lets face it with the game as it is, to get pirate legend it is safe to assume you have sunk someone along the way and stolen their loot. This playstyle is what was intended by the developers and there is no argument against that

@usualbarley8154 but in all the time someone is in the game to get pirate legend it is almost impossible to not have the requirement to kill another player to protect your loot, unless of course you were adamant on being a pacifist and just instantly gave up your loot because you don't want to PvP. But i doubt anyone would do that. My point is there is a reason all of the starting cosmetics say SAILOR instead of PIRATE. Because they have not yet done the things like PvP(as previously stated in one way or another would become a necessity)
