I want the Legendary Kraken Hunter commendation, what's the most efficient way to make the kraken spawn on me?
How to farm the Kraken?
6 am - 7am your local time as a starting point (you'd have to trial and error your way into your local perfect hunting time) might need a little earlier or a tad later and it'll depend on the day of the week a bit as well
it'll be right after the night pirates go to bed and before the day pirates get going
the lack of activity will make it more likely you get the kraken spawned on you when there isn't an event on your server during that time
it's a consistent way to pop a couple-few a day if you really want to hunt them
other than this method it's too random to be able to do anything other than be in the open sea and hope for the best
In my experience I've seen a significant decrease in krakens being spawned on the ship that finishes the event unlike how it used to be back in the fort days. So I wouldn't use the pounding out events yourself specifically for krakens strategy.

There's too many events now. Good luck lol. I will add that if you're watching for events to end, do so near an island (close enough for the nameplate to show) and head to sea as soon as you see the event end instead of just hanging out at sea.
Also have a couple of loot items as a mild superstitious token...from personal experiences killing 18 krakens and running away most of the time cause ain't nobody got time for that and the loot is usually not worth the aggravation.
