Sea Forts Cannons are too Inaccurate

  • I think the sea Forts are too inaccurate, because, as far as I know, the phantoms that are shooting the cannons have been on these forts for all their lives (if I'm wrong then I'm sorry for bringing this all up), and if it's at all possible, then I think they should be more accurate cannon shots. It just doesn't feel as difficult as I think it should be for this.

  • Sea Forts are low difficulty by desig, the cannons are really only there to stop you from loitering.

But on the topic of sea fort difficulty, their rewards should be nerfed because they're too good for being so safe, easy, and readily available.

I believe the reason behind the inaccuracy on the cannons is due to the amount of cannons there. It would be quite terrifying going against 4+ cannons shooting decent.

The Sea forts were made for "quick cash grab"

  • on the pve side it'll just run off the people that they are ultimately built for

it helps support new and low play time casual players for some efficient loot gathering, gives them opportunity to learn and improve without a bunch of time investment

on the more experienced/pvp side they just exist for us to play with, stationaries are fun and scenarios are random.

Annoying cannon shot accuracy really doesn't benefit anyone for content at the risk/reward level of sea forts imo

  • I wish Rare brought back cannon accuracy from launch...those guys were snipers back then

  • @schwammlgott yea because 100% accuracy aim botting skeletons were so fun. Especially for solo rolling up on a fort and your best bet was to hide bellow deck until you ram the island because above deck you will be head shot with a canon. What next bring back sniper skeletons who will hit you for 80% of your health when you shoot yourself out of a canon..... and bring back the eye or reach knock back so those shots would also kill your forward momentum. I remember trying to run for eye of reach skeletons and always getting pushed back before I could swing at them. So fun.

I guess that's why I never had an issue with double gunners though when at launch you had skeletons with insane accuracy and doing athena voyages 1 month into the games release if a group if gun skeletons spawned yea you just got 5 tapped faster than a human can quickswap. AI power creep when players can never gain power or defend against it just never made sense. At least now we have tools like fire and tridents and skeletons spawning with kegs is extremely helpful too
