Beware! Long Essay Ahead!
So, do you remember Dinosaur Planet? And no, not the TV show. The game. For those uninitiated, Dinosaur Planet was a Rare LTD. game that centered around something. I have no idea what, but something about orphans, flying galleons, and probably dinosaurs. Also a queen died. But I digress. Dinosaur Planet intrigued multiple people for the reason that, Dinosaur Planet never released. Nintendo scrapped the project and recycled the game into Star Fox Adventures. Nevertheless, Dinosaur Planet became lost media. Until some sneaky little hobbitses hackers went in and found the development builds of it. Whoops. There the hackers discovered that...
Dinosaur Planet is a broken mess that pretty much is just Star Fox Adventures
but really bad. Though I'm certain Dinosaur Planet would have been a commercial success if it hadn't been cancelled and Rare could have finished it.
So right now you're probably thinking "Tori, why are you talking about this? Get to the point!" Because of Blackwyche.
A lot of you have probably heard of Blackwyche and Sir Arthur Pendragon because of the two part story line revolving around them. But did you know it was a video game before? Yeah you probably did but did you know that video game was developed before Rare LTD was Rare LTD? Back then they were called Ultimate Games! Blackwyche caught multiple peoples attention because three different reviewers gave it mediocre reviews in the range of 5.0 to 6.3. Blackwyche eventually faded into obscurity. But Rare still incorporated it into the biggest game they ever made!
However, Dinosaur Planet, a much more recent game, created by Rare and not Ultimate Games, and remembered by a lot of people, has no representation ingame! I have the high ground, Anakin a solution to this.
So, instead of a full fledged tall tale surrounding this Rareforsaken game, I figured that maybe there should just be a few cosmetics. I came up with a few ideas, Forgoing clothing, as a lot of the protagonists clothes could be created with
pre-existing Sea of Thieves items (One Character literally wears a yellow dress and that's it.)
Concept Number One.
A very cool sword. In Dinosaur Planet, one of the playable characters has a REALLY AWESOME sword. This is what it looks like.
It would be so cool to see this sword in the game as a cutlass.

Idea Number Two.
I will warn you, this idea may be controversial (Why?) and otherwise potentially hard to implement.
A curse that turns you into the main character's species. (The main characters are furries.) I feel as though this would pay homage to the game a lot better than the sword. Though don't get me wrong the sword is very cool.
The characters would look something like this. Supposedly, this is Rare's concept art, but I found it on Pinterest.
Obviously, Rare doesn't have to do this crossover, but I think this would be huge with a lot of Rare fans. Also, If you have some better ideas for this, please put them down below! Bye!
