No need to make cannon flares that shining, decrease the brightness.

I do notice certain flares obscure your view when trying to see where your cannonballs are landing. Trying to focus on the target and where it lands can be quite taxing on the eyes. I suggest trying some different ones such as the Cutthroat, Spring Blossom, and Beachcomber to see if that helps. I think it is a bit overkill and could use a slight change with all of them in some ways.

I just adjust my brightness and that does the trick.

I'm surprised with all the accessibility adjustments there isn't something around cannon flare. I find them massively distracting and only use a couple.
