Heya! I've been dealing with the merchant alliance representatives scamming me of my gold at the start of each of my sessions, I'm not sure if it's a bug or a "feature" at this point.
Ever since I've started playing Sea of Thieves in 2021, when buying crates from the merchant alliance, most of the time I can't claim them afterwards.
I can only claim them 1/3 of the time and I'm unsure what I'm doing wrong. Do I need to be a certain level in merchants?
Are the supplies I'm buying for other crews, or do I need to play with friends for it to work? (I buy and they must claim the supplies, it often works that way)
It's entirely possible that I don't understand the feature correctly.
If that's the case, please enlighten me on how it works so I don't waste my time and money each session (7-10K gold).
Recently I've come across a solo player who's been able to buy infinite crates and supplies by himself and he too is very confused as to why.
