I was on a ship, when 2 people joined me, they immediately sent me tothe brig. They kept using in game voice chat to call me a (Mod Edited) and a (Mod Edited) monkey. Who does that? He kept yelling I’m the Captain now, but I guess it was just an illusion he made of himself.

It is always very unfortunate when you meet players like that. You can report them through the Support tab at the top of this page, by raising a support ticket, as well as through Xbox. I would remove the names from your post, as Naming and Shaming goes against our Forum Pirate Community Code.@spent-d the sad thing is that he had no humorous intention or lighthearted feel. I assumed he was just some guy with a superiority complex.

I'm fine with it, I just know for Rare at a support admin level, what someone said or didn't say will be a nightmare to deal with.

@ant-heuser-kush I know, it seems stupid now, but for some reason I was to stubborn and proud to let them win, so I just kinda sat there and took it.
@lgambill "it happens" is true but it shouldn't. unfortunately, there is no test currently to judge whether some folks are capable or suitable for human interaction online. If they were truly offensive, make sure to report them via the support link https://support.seaofthieves.com/hc/en-gb/requests/new (it can take a while to load properly)
