Hi guys,
i just bought this game and immediately notice that the full screen management is totally messed up.
The first bug you will notice is the one that will happen if you have more than one monitor. In fact, when you rotate (left or right) the in-game view, the mouse pointer will go to the other monitor and when is there you can't use the mouse buttons right in SoT.
The official fix is to enable UAC and reboot the pc or run the trubleshooter but sadly for me nothing is working, and we are talking about a windows 10 fresh new installation here.
The second bug is about the taskbar, infact when you move the in-game view down too much the Windows Taskbar will show up causing the same issues of the fisrt bug.
Now.
The first bug is easily solvable installing a free third party software, is called "Dual Monitor Tools"
After that proceed in this way:
Go to the options
Go in Cursor > General
Set the HotKeys that you want for Lock cursor onto screen and Cursor free to move between screens
After that just use the first one to lock the cursor in the screen where is currently on (the one where are you playing SoT) and the second one if you want to move the mouse between screens.
If you want you can make Dual Monitor Tools start with windows. Just go in Dual Monitor Tools > General and flag Start when Windows starts
About the second bug, i've readed that someone suggest to kill the explorer.exe (credits to @tmshero ) while you play the game.
This could be a solution or, if you have more than one monitor, just disable the windows bar on the second monitor and use it for play the game.
This can be made by the taskbar setting like this:
Go in the Taskbar settings
Switch OFF "Show taskbar on all display"
You can easily turn this on later.
I hope that those workarounds has been helpful to the people that like me wanna play this game in peace.
